We're All Mad Here brand review!

So, on January the 16th, I purchased one of the prototype skirts from the etsy shop We're All Mad Here, and it has recently arrived!

To begin with, here is the original stock photo of the item i purchased:

When it arrived, it was in a standard post office shipping bag, and the opening was sealed off with cute skelleton printed ducktape! But once I opened the package, it was even cuter!

It was all wraped up in maroon and black tissue paper, sealed with the brand sticker.

Inside neatly weaped was the skirt, and the detachable skirt bow (which was wraped seprately and neatly tucked away into the skirt), as well as a cute thankyou card which also has the brand name on the front. Th shop owner Eden even included a brand logo skull pin which i was very happy when i saw it!

For a brand that is just starting out I was suprised at the packaging and all the little cute extras! Afterall, this was only a proto-type skirt!

This is the print. When I first saw it, I instantly fell in love! And it is just as beautiful in person as it is in the pictures! The attention to detail and all the tiny little seperate bones are amazing! I have never in my life seeen a print like this, and it is absolutely breath takeing! The fabric is nice and soft, and has a decent weight. Not heavy, but not too light weight or thin either.

As I had just mentioned above, the attention to detail is amazing! You can't see it from the outside, but the skirt's lining is finished off with black polka-dot tulle. And the lace is also amazing! There are little flowers and skull and cross bones on it.The lace isnt scratchy or itch to the touch either.

Price: I paid $150 for the skirt not including shipping. Based on other brand and off brand items I won, I will give it a 5/5

Communication: 5/5 The communication between Eden and I was very promt. Definately a plus because communication is one of my greatest conserns weather I am doing the buying or the selling. Eden was very sweet dduring the entire process.

Shipping: 5/5 I originally paid $35, but shipping ended up being cheaper so I was immediately refunded $10. Since I am accustom to shipping and recieving out of the continent, the shipping price seemed quite normal/reasonable to me.

Quality/Construction: 5/5 The lace and the fabric are very nice! The skirt is lined and all the edges are all tucked and sewed away so there is no worry for it to fall apart on you. I forgot to take a picture, but the waistband has double elastics in it, which I always feel is most comfortable compared to a single elastic band.

Over-all: 5/5 I am totally smitten with this skirt and can't wait for the next print to come out! There is still one more prototype skirt left for sale on her etsy! When more skirts come out they will be a bit more, but there will also be more added to the final skirt as well.

From what I have seen from this skirt, the full version will definately be worth it! Please also check out the facebook page for We're All Mad Here for more updates! I also want to add that all the jewelry on the etsy page is also incredibly cute as well! So check it out!

If there is anything extra you would like to know, please comment and I will add it into my review. I should have an outfit shot with the skirt by this weekend, so please stay tuned! ;]

Thanks for looking! ~

Get Real! You Do It Too!

Get Real! You Do It Too!

So I wanted to sare with all of you this facebook page. It has just barely been created today, but the idea for it is fairly old.

One of my closest friends and I started talking about all the wierd things you do, but since it is pretty odd, you don't talk about it with other people. For instance, when you have a cut in your mouth, you can't help but play with that little flap of skin dangling in your mouth!

We disscussed a lot of wierd things that people do, and may not even realise that everyone else does it too! Some of the things people do were so hillarious, that we decided we were going to compile a list, and when we had enough things, we would publish our findings.

So today, for the start of the year, we decided to finally set our plan in motion. I created our Facebook page this afternoon, and starting tomorrow, we will be taking photos and interviewing people to expand our list.

This project is very dear to me! I hope you all are as excited as me to find out all the wierd and silly things everyone does! Please feel free to "like" our page, and even share it with your friends, family, or re-blog it! The more people who contribute, the better it will be and the faster it can be completed!

Please note that we reserve the right to use or dont use any photos or stories that are submited to us. However, once published, I do hope to compensate everyone who helped contribute to the book! Depending on the outcome, I was thinking about trying to get everyone involved a copy of it, but we'll see how this goes!

If anyone has any ideas, questions, etc, please let me know by commenting here, or on our facebook page!

Thanks so much in advance!
