Armin van Buuren

So at the beginning of September I drove several hours to another town to see the #1 DJ in the world, god of trance music, Armin van Buuren! I was so suprised to find out that he was playing within driving distance of my town, so I couldnt NOT GO! I decided to wear my Sheep Garden to the show.

Makeup:

So I paid extra so I could get VIP tickets, because, well, it's Armin! The event was helled all day at a small resourt. The stage was poolside, which was pretty cool. Before Armin came on there were other local artists playing. The majority of the people who attended were all bros and people who dont typically go to raves, so it was a little odd.

While Armin's set was beautiful and amazing, I was really put off by the people in attendance. While one set was going a bunch of people thought i would be cool to start calling and chanting for Armin to come out and the current djs to step down which was incredibly rude. You would never see that sort of thing at any rave. Secondly, when Armin finally did come out, again, stupid bros thought it would be cool to keep on throwing beach balls everywhere, and they kept on bouncing off of the equipment on stage, and evin hit Armin in the head a few times! I was incredibly embarrased by everyones rude behavior! Third of all, my friend and I stood at the very front of the stage for over an hour before Armin even came out so we would be sure to front and center for his set befor it got crowded. I was front and center for Armin and it was amazing!!! What wasnt amazing was the stupid little girls behind me shoving me into the rail trying to get past me. So, I danced ever crazier, jumping up and down, and shaking my booty, making sure that unless they wantet their toes steped on or they wanted to get booty smashed, they would let ke have my space. Same goes for the guy who "dropped" his phone behind the rail in front of me and the girl to my right, who tried to get infront of us that way. Fortunately we were small enough to squish back in front of him and we both pushed him back into the crowed.

And my final dissapointment was that I spent extra for VIP, but they didnt have anything for VIP. But it was Armin and It was definately worth seeing him live, and so incredibly close! I was probably about 3 feet away from him! <3

Lolita Zoo Meet

We had a lolita zoo meet that was so much fun!!!! I always adore going to the zoo!!!
For this event i wore the Milky-chan black replica jsk and socks. I wanted to have an animal theme for the zoo meet!

"Tiger Poop" I bought for my boyfriend!

What i bought from the zoo gift shop! When i complete my transformation I will definately post the end results!!! It is a light pink color with a litle elephant on it! :]

My makeup: I honestly messed sooooooooo much on my makeup!!! But I am really hapoy that everyone loved it!! Lol well at least to my face! ;p

My wardrobe situation + outfit post

I was looking at all the clothes I have in my closet. I was thinking, there are a few pieces I wear almost constantly, and others that I wear very rarely or never. I think I want to start from the very left side of my wardrobe and start making outfits featuring the very first piece of clothing I have, moveing to the right each day untill I get to the very end. Hopefully this way I can figure out some new cute combonation of coordinates to wear and get out of my current wardrobe funk!

My wardrobe is arranged by type. There are skirts, jsks, ops, short sleeved tops, boleros, and jackets. Hopefully by the time I get to the jackets it will be cool enough I can actually wear them!! I got this adorable Baby hoodie with bunny ears much earlier this year, but it was too warm for it by the time I found it unfortunately.

Anywho, does anyone else get outfit funks like this? How do you cure it? I know I have my favorite dresses...and its sometimes hard not to ignore the rest of your clothes and keep on picking out your favorite pieces.

And tonight I have a photo to share! I know its a little late, but its from kareoke at the bar last Thursday night! Hopefully I will be able to get another picture of my outfit tomorrow night :] I know I JUST stated above I was going to start at the beginning of my closet and go through the end, but first I want to wear my Sugary Carnival replica because 1. I havnt worn it at all yet, and 2. I love getting all cutesy-fied for the bar. Its so much fun and everyone always loves to see my clothes! Besides, cutle little lolita at the bar? Come on who wouldnt want to do that?! XD

Ok! So for todays post, I really REALLY HOPE THIS WORKS! I ONLY HAVE MY cell phone to use for the internet! EGL Temporary Close

So, I woke up this morning to see that someone had posted some private mod conversations onto one of the lolita drams communities. Now I dont usually comment unless if I need a safe place to vent, and I dont like to start drama, but when no interesting posts pop up on EGL or there arnt that many interesting new blog entries, the drama comunities do keep me entertained.

Anyways, this seems to be the straw that broke the camel's back, so I strongly encourage everyone to post in the sub communities and blogs as much as possible!!! Starting tomorrow I want to try and make my boyfriend to take pictures of my outfit for me while he has no job! Other then that, the only decent pictures I can take by myself are on my camera, but I have no computer to upload them! :[ However, as soon as I have a free day from work and can get to a computer, I have so many things to upload!!! <3

Any whoooo... I was just thinking about how lost I felt without the lj communities durring the last dos attack on lj, and want to encourage posts of other lolitas to help keep lolitas like me sane while EGL are under :]

Un-Announced Hiatus

I apollogise for the stall of the challange postses, but I have been super busy with work lately... My boyfriend was recently laid off on Monday, which means that I am the only one left to collect on bills...so i gave up my only day off to get more hours! The next time I have time to spare I plan to post some event columns, as well as catch up on daily coordinates! :]

10 People Who Inspire Your Lolita Style

None of these people are in any particular order. I really love seeing everyones outfits, so its a little difficult to get to 10... I really don't have too many people I look foreward too...I am more of a lone lolita. :]

1. Kana (aka MOON Kana)- From what I know of, the majority if not all of her clothes are hand-made. All of her outfits are so uniqe and adorable! Not only that, but I love some of her music! Every time I see her outfits, I either want to replicate them, or just make more of my own clothes is general.

2. Velvetbat- She is so pretty! And I really love her style! Especially her cyber lolita outfits! I have wanted to try it for years but i was always nervous how others would react. Now that I've seen hers I want to try this even more! I always look foreward to her posts and seeing all of her outfits!

3. Shelbycloud- I love all of her videos, and I am absolutely in love with all of her outfits! She is so freaking cute!!!

4. Ashlee- Shes adorable, she has cute photos, but most importantly I am super jelly of her hair! Not to mention I am in love with her pink Liz Lisa boots! But I do really enjoy her coordinates.

5. arsenicold_lace- She always has the lovliest outfits! I especially love all of her handmade hair pieces!

6. mana_samatemple- I absolutely love all the gothic outfits! The are so beautiful and elegant! I really enjoy every one of his posts! <3 7. Princess Pudding- I ablolutely adore this girl's look! Even her non lolita outfits are so cute and to die for!

30 Day Challange- Day 6

10 Things You Can't Live Without In Lolita
1. Hair things! Flower, head bows, hair clips, hats! Even out of lolita I just can't live without them! My head just feels super naked wihout anything!

2. Knit boleros. Its so hot out here, that I usually don't want to wear a blouse under JSKs. But, screw "the rules", I just plain dont like going out without blouses because I feel that outfits look off balance without them. So I love my short sleeved knit boleros to keep my shoulders covered, but keep the air flowing to my skin as well.

3. I have recently become addicted to false eyelashes. Especially since I have a couple of glittery pairs. I wear them all the time! Unless of course I have work that day because unfortunately they frown on anything that is more then...well...your skin...and I love colors, glitter, eyeliner, and makeup in general.

4. Glitter! I always love to have glitter on me from head to toe, but especially when I am in lolita I can't put enough glitter on!

5. The people!!! The online community and my local community is so amazing! Its so much more fun with al the other frillys to share it with!

6. Petticoat...or at least the poof... I know i skimp on it because it's so hot sometimes, but if it wernt so hot i would wear it everyday! I even love poof in my non-lolita wear! For my outfit to Electric Daisy Carnival in Las Vegas this summer even had a super massive poof to it!

7. Bloomers. They are especially awesome when the wind decides to be a jerk and randomly blow really hard and you end up exposeing yourself to everyone... :/

8. Parasol and sunblock. Sunburns are so not rori.

9. A cute purse to cary your things. I get really annoyed when I dont have a matching bag to go with my outfit. I am curently trying to expand my badg collection.

10. Camera! Its so fun posting your lolita adventures online to share with everyone! Even if you don't post them, its really nice to have them anyways to remember how much fun you had, and you get to look at everybodys lovely outfits!

Ok thats it for today! Now I am off to the bar for some kareoke time! I hope to get some cute pictures from tonight so I can share them later!
